Ali Abdel Aal, Speaker of the House of Representatives, has said Egypt is keen on enhancing relations with France, which he called a "friendly country".
Abdel Aal, in a meeting with newly appointed French Ambassador in Cairo Stéphane Romatet Tuesday, praised parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
He touched upon legislation endorsed by the House of Representatives to support economic reform measures in Egypt, atop of which the new investment law.
Romatet hailed as "historic" relations between Paris and Cairo.
He invited Abdel Aal to lead a parliamentary delegation on a visit to France
