Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, currently visiting Germany, is scheduled to hold important talks on Thursday with a number of German ministers.
Shoukry will meet with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier to discuss bilateral ties and the fight against terrorism.
The talks will also take up illegal immigration issues as well as the latest developments in the Middle East and Near East, especially the conditions in Libya and Syria.
Egypt's top diplomat will convene also with German Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development Gerd Muller to discuss means of boosting bilateral relations.
He will also meet with German Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister of Economic Affairs and Energy Sigmar Gabriel to probe ways of reinforcing economic cooperation between Egypt and Germany.
Shoukry is also scheduled to hold a meeting with Leader of the German Christian Democratic Union Volker Kauder, who recently visited Egypt and met with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi following an attack on the Boutrosiya Coptic Orthodox Church in December.
Shourky arrived in Germany on Wednesday on a two-day visit to the European country.
