At least 20 people were killed in explosions that rocked a weapon depot of the Islamic State (IS) group in Syria's eastern province of Deir al-Zour on Wednesday evening, a monitor group reported.
Two explosions rocked a house the IS militants used to store weapons, and coincided with a passing fuel tanker, which triggered a third explosion, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The UK-based watchdog group said the explosions destroyed 15 houses and vehicles.
The cause of the bombings is under investigation.
