Minister of Foreign Affairs of Senegal, Sidiki Kaba, and Mohammed Salem Al-Rashidi, UAE Ambassador to Senegal, have discussed ways to enhance cooperation in various fields.
This came during a meeting between the two sides in Dakar. The UAE Ambassador on the occasion congratulated Mr. Kaba on his appointment as the new Foreign Minister of Senegal.
He conveyed the Senegalese Foreign Minister the greetings of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. Al-Rashidi expressed his preparedness to work with the minister to enhance the existing bilateral relations between the two countries to reflect the desire of the two countries' leaderships to build strategic and permanent ties in all domains.
The Senegalese Foreign Minister emphasised the strategic importance given by Senegal under the leadership of President Macky Sall to relations with the UAE. He also praised the continuous support provided by the UAE to Senegal in various fields. He said that he will pay an official visit to the UAE in the near future to further enhance cooperation and partnership between the two countries.
