The Indian government has revealed plans to conduct joint military exercises with several countries including China, the United Kingdom, Russia and the United States this year to boost military ties and enhance bilateral defense cooperation "Military exercises are to be conducted with Australia, Bangladesh, China, France, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Russia, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, Thailand, United Kingdom and United States of America during the year 2017," India's Minister for Defense Subhash Bhamre told the Parliament.
This month, the Indian military conducted joint military exercises with a number of countries.
