Israeli authorities partly opened Gaza's sole operating border crossing Kerem Shalom on Sunday for the limited deliveries of goods, humanitarian aid and domestic-use gas. Palestinian liaison official Raed Fattouh said around 300 truckloads of goods allowed into the besieged coastal enclave through the southernmost terminal, Palestinian (Ma'an) News Agency reported. Sunday's allowance included 10 trucks bringing cement and iron bars and 50 truckloads of concrete aggregates to be used in construction projects funded by UNRWA. Fattouh added that limited quantities of domestic-use gas allowed through the same terminal.
