Moushira Khattab, Egypt's candidate for the post of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) chief, said Thursday she is leading a full-fledged campaign worldwide to garner international support for her candidacy.
In statements to MENA, Khattab said she is proud of earning the confidence of African states and other countries all over the world, adding that she enjoys their full support to the post.
Egypt deserves the title in light of its ancient civilization, as well as its high political, economic, cultural and educational status in the Arab and African regions, she concluded.
