Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed in a telephone conversation Tuesday the key aspects of the stalled settlement between Palestinians and Israelis.
The two sides also discussed issues related to cooperation between Israel and Russia. The last round of US-led talks between Palestine and Israel broke down in 2014.
France is currently seeking to move the stalled peace process through an initiative to hold an international peace summit in the second half of 2016, which would include the Israeli and Palestinian leaders, but Netanyahu rejected it.
