Russian President Vladimir Putin met today with visiting Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
During the meeting, they discussed relations between the two countries and means of enhancing them in various fields in addition to issues of security and the situation in North Korea and the region.
In a statement after the meeting, Putin described his talks with the Japanese prime minister as constructive and showed the two countries' resolve to enhance cooperation and coordination on various issues.
