The State Information Service (SIS) underlined the importance of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's visit to Chad within the framework of his current African tour.
The visit is meant to boost bilateral ties and review regional issues of mutual concern, said an SIS report on Wednesday.
The report said the Egyptian-Chadian ties are deeply-rooted.
The report noted that Chad is a vital market for Egyptian and Arab products.
The report added that EgyptAir launched a direct Cairo-N'Djamena air route in August 2014.
On August 2, Chadian Defense Minister Bichara Issa Djadallah visited Egypt and held a meeting with President Sisi.
During the meeting, Djadallah forwarded a message from the Chadian president to Sisi underlining Chad's keenness on fostering bilateral relations.
