Head of Turkey's Supreme Election Council (YSK) Sadi Guven has given assurances that the objections to Sunday's referendum results will be evaluated. We are going to evaluate the objections before noon, Guven told reporters in Ankara Wednesday.
Guven had announced on Sunday that 24,763,516 voted "yes" in the referendum on the constitutional amendments, while 23,511,155 voted "No".The final results of the referendum will be announced within a maximum of 11 or 12 days after consideration of the objections, Guven added in a news conference.
