Seven Palestinians including two children were killed on Saturday in Israeli air strikes and artillery fire on the northern Gaza Strip towns of Beit Lahiya Beit Hanoun, local medical sources said.
Israeli air strikes targeted a house in Beit Lahiya town, killing two children from one family, officials of the Hamas-run Health Ministry in Gaza said, adding that dozens others were injured in the attack.
On July 8, Israel started an all-out military "Operation Protective Edge" to stop Gaza rockets fire. Late Thursday, Israeli launched a ground operation in Gaza.
Around 320 Palestinians have been killed and 2,260 others injured in the ongoing Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip since it started on July 8, according to Gaza medics.
