Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas expressed on Friday his rejection to what happened at Al Aqsa mosque in a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Abbas also asked for cancellation of the Israeli measures to close Al Aqsa for worshipers, warning that the consequences of these measures could lead to a change in religious status of the Holy places.
Netanyahu confirmed that there will be no change for the status quo of the Holy places.
Meantime, the Palestinian presidency conducted phone calls with Jordan to work on ending the Israeli measures.
Two Israeli Policemen were killed and another was wounded in violent clashes with three Palestinian young men inside Al Aqsa mosque on Friday morning.
