Israeli occupation police barred al Quds Mufti Haj Amin al Husseini from entering al Aqsa Mosque on Friday.
They also arrested al Aqsa guards and seized their cell phones following today's clashes between Palestinian young men and Israeli police, that left three Palestinians dead and three Israeli policemen wounded.
The Mufti is calling on all Palestinians to flock to the holy site to perform Friday prayers there and not to allow the occupation to prevent the prayers, Palestinian sources
Meanwhile, Fatah movement urged the Palestinians to move to the mosque, in the wake of a decision by the Israeli authorities to close the mosque on Friday.
