Confrontations erupt near Bethlehem

A number of Palestinians Wednesday suffered from suffocation due to tear gas inhalation during confrontations that erupted in the town of al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, between Israeli soldiers and Palestinians protesting the Israeli policy against prisoners detained in Israeli jails, according to a local source.Coordinator of the Popular Committee against Settlements and the Apartheid Wall in al-Khader, Ahmad Salah told WAFA that soldiers fired acoustic and tear gas bombs at the protesters, causing several suffocation and fainting cases among them
