The main power plant in Gaza went back online after pumping fuel from Egypt through Rafah crossing, said the Gaza Electricity Distribution Company (GEDCO) on Saturday.
The power station was forced to shut down on Friday morning over lack of fuel, the head of the GEDCO's public relations department, Mohamed Thabet, said.
He said about 115 megawatts of electricity have been generated, while the energy deficit amounted to 485 megawatts.
