Gaza City - MENA

Israeli warplanes launched Saturday several airstrikes on targets in the Gaza Strip, but no casualties were reported.
The warplanes raided open areas near a site of al-Qassam Brigades, north-east of Rafah in southern Gaza, and a poultry farm in Qarara, east of Khan Yunis.
Meanwhile, twenty Palestinian rockets and projectiles landed in Israeli settlements adjacent to the Gaza Strip, wounding a soldier at Eshkol in the western Negev.
Hamas spokesman in Gaza Sami Abu Zuhri denied in a press statement that there are talks or contacts on reaching a truce with Israel, adding "these reports are untrue."
