As many as 15 Palestinian worshipers were injured Tuesday during attacks by Israeli occupation forces near the Lions' Gate, a main entrance to the Al Aqsa Mosque compound.
The occupation authority used rubber bullets, sonic bombs and tear gas in ruthless display of force to attack worshipers who gathered near the gate, witnesses told MENA.
The number of injured people who arrived at al-Makassed hospital in East Jerusalem hit 30 including a girl, the witnesses said.
In the meantime, the occupation forces arrested a press photographer and wounded journalist who were doing their jobs in the place.
