Staffers of the Palestinian Awqaf Ministry refused to enter Al Aqsa Mosque through the electronic gates set up by Israel.
They performed Zuhr (noon) prayers outside the mosque in a clear rejection of the new Israeli security measures taken after Friday clashes that left three Palestinians and two Israeli policemen dead.
Since Friday, the mosque has been closed by Israeli occupation forces. Today Israel reopened the mosque but after setting up electronic gates.
