At least ten people were killed and 40 others were wounded in a suicide attack in central Uruzgan province of Afghanistan, officials said on Wednesday.According to a senior police official, Gul Agha, a powerful car bombing that ripped through the crowded hotel in Tirinkot city of Uruzgan killed at least ten people and injured many others. The Ministry of Interior has also confirmed the death toll.Security forces and rescue teams reached the scene and injured people were shifted to the nearby hospital.An official from the Uruzgan Civil Hospital, Dr. Izzatullah confirmed that seven dead bodies and 37 injured people had been brought to the hospital adding that most of the injured are critical in condition. The local security and administrative officials indicated the death toll could go up, saying several injured were struggling for life.
