A regional leader of the Houthi militant group were killed on Saturday during clashes with forces loyal to the Yemeni president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi.
According to Sky News Arabia, the Houthi figure, Abdel Salam el Sharif, was shot dead during clashes that erupted in Sirwah district of Ma'rib Province.
Meantime, the Saudi-led coalition's warplanes continued hitting sites under control of the Houthis and forces loyal to ex-president Ali Abdullah Saleh in Taiz.
Both sides exchanged shelling attacks in el Misrakh district in the same province.
