Yemeni Military forces, backed by the Arab coalition, were able to defeat the Houthi and Saleh militias and free "Al-Maaqar" town west Taiz, South of the Capital Sana'a.
An official military source for the press center of the Yemeni Military announced that military units were able to free the town after a series of fierce battles with the militias, resulted in several deaths and injuries among the militants.
