Former president of Raja Casablanca Club, Abdulsalam Hanat denied what has been circulated recently by news outlets about his intention to return to take over the presidency of the club.
"What has been published on this subject is not true and merely rumors, explaining that there is no intention to take any office in the Green team, pointing out that his age and healthy conditions do not allow him to assume any responsibility," Hanat said.
He seeks, like other former presidents, to contribute in resolving the crisis experienced by the club.
Hanat said that the club's fans currently divided between supporters and opponents of the current president, stressing at the same time that the last mentioned is not alone responsible for the financial crisis that stretches for years ago, saying "We do our best efforts to solve the financial problems, but this requires some time."
He praised the players sacrifices and dedication in defending the colors of the club, noting that they are aware of the scale of the crisis, and the need to provide their best to contribute in the crisis' solution.
