Real Madrid defender Marcelo has expressed frustration with his side's 1-0 loss against Levante on Sunday, as he feels their surprising defeat could eventually cost them the title. The Spanish giants left Estadio Ciutat de Valencia empty handed following a single Aroune Kone goal, and the Brazilian left-back has suggested that Madrid cannot afford to lose against teams like Levante if they are to win La Liga. "We really shouldn't be spilling points against teams like Levante. The worst things is that the three points we lost on Sunday could prove to be decisive at the end of the season," Marcelo said to AS. "Losing these kinds of games hurts our ambitions a lot, because you expect to pick up the full three points against them. However, as we all saw on Sunday, anything can happen in the matches against the so-called smaller teams." Real Madrid will be eager to bounce back from their loss when they take on Racing Santander on Wednesday evening.
