In the second part of our exclusive interview with the new FIFA Interactive World Cup champion, Alfonso Ramos discusses the origins of ‘Vamos Ramos’, the Grand Finalist that impressed him most and his expectations for EA SPORTS™ FIFA 13. FIFA.com: What was your general impression of the Grand Final in Dubai? Alfonso Ramos: It was a great final. Everything was very well organized and Dubai was a breathtaking city. We had time to really enjoy the city between the games. The schedule was great. During the final match your fans in the audience were shouting 'Vamos Ramos'. Do you like this cheer? Where does it come from? Yes, I like it a lot. One of the reasons I like this battle cry is that I created it. I used it as a hashtag on Twitter some days before the Grand Final and all my followers started to support me by using it. I was really impressed by how many people wanted me to win the final. I have no words to describe it. The only thing I can say is that I really appreciate their support. You experienced the magic of the FIFA Ballon d’Or Gala after your FIWC title win in 2008. What are you looking forward to on your second trip to the Gala? The experience is unbelievable. This year I hope to meet players like Iker Casillas, Sergio Ramos, David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane. And, of course, I want to meet the best coach in the world, Jose Mourinho! What are you planning to do with your prize money? I will do the same as I did in 2008. I’ll save a big part of the money, I’ll take my friends for dinner and I’ll go on a holiday. This summer will be amazing! Six appearances at the Grand Final and two world titles, what’s next for you at the FIWC? To win my third FIWC title! It will be very difficult, I know, but I have the advantage. I can train all year without pressure because I've already qualified for the FIFA Interactive World Cup 2013! Which player surprised you most in this year’s tournament? There were a lot of surprises, but in my opinion the biggest one was Joe [Giuseppe] Guastella. He was in a tough group with Andre Buffo and Ty Walton but he managed to finish in first. In the semifinals he lost against Bruce Grannec but, besides that, he played an incredible Grand Final. The release of EA SPORTS™ FIFA13 is coming closer. Have you already had the possibility to try out the new version? What do you expect from FIFA13? I haven’t had the chance to try it, but I’ve had the opportunity to see it. I hope that I can play the game as soon as possible. FIFA 13 will surely be even more realistic. The only thing that I can say is that EA is on a good path and it looks like we will have a great game. Immediately after your win you did a little victory dance. Does the dance have any special significance or was it simply the expression of your feelings at that moment? That dance is one of Neymar's dances. Andre Buffo, Francisco Cruz, Samuel Liberato and I were joking about doing this dance if one of us won the tournament. ThankfullyI won and I did a little performance on the stage! FIFA.
