Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has revealed his desire to return to former club Inter as coach. The Argentine is making a name for himself as a trainer in Spain with Los Rojiblancos, who are currently sitting second in La Liga, but it would appear that he is already thinking about his future away from the Vicente Calderon. Simone enjoyed a successful few years with the Italian side as a player from 1996-1999, and has now set his sites on managing the Nerrazzuri. "Sooner or later, one day, I will be the coach of Inter," the 42-year-old told Sky Sport Italia. "I left many positive memories as a player at Sevilla, Lazio and Inter. This makes me believe that some day I could also be coach of these teams. "After all, it happened with Atletico Madrid. I did well here as a player and now I must do well as a coach. We’ll see what destiny has to say."
