Mother of the nation, H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), the Family Development Foundation (FDF) and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, has paid tributes to the mothers of the Emirati martyrs, saying the blood of their brave sons will not go in vain.
In a message to the mothers of the martyrs, Sheikha Fatima said the UAE leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, will always care for the nation's brave sons.
The message was conveyed to the mothers of the martyrs by Mariam Mohamed Al Romaithi, Director General of the FDF, during visits by a delegation from the Foundation to them today in Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain.
The martyrs' mothers vowed to continue teaching their children loyalty to the country and to the wise leadership. They also expressed pride over their sons' sacrifices to the country.
On Sheikha Fatima's directives, the delegation members were briefed about the needs of the martyrs' mothers.
