Undersecretary of the Tourism Ministry in Medenine state Amal al Mashani said on Wednesday that 130 Algerian tourists have arrived at Djerba–Zarzis International Airport.
In press statements on Wednesday, al Mashani added that Algerian flights to Tunisia are expected to run till September 12, noting that the Algerian market will have a positive influence on the tourism sector in Tunisia.
She asserted that the Algerian tourists go to Djerba city as their preferred destination especially after restoring its traditional markets.
Al Mashani said that the number of Algerian tourists is expected to reach two million tourists.
