Beirut - Arab Today

Former Arab League (AL) chief Amr Moussa blamed on Thursday bad governance and poor educational and health services for the recent 'real revolutions', not mere intifadas, in the Arab countries.

Addressing the two-day annual conference of the Union of Arab Banks currently held in Lebanon, Moussa stressed that chaos and foreign interference cannot only foment revolutions.

Arab peoples cannot go backwards, Moussa said, adding that the youths represent 70 percent of the Arab peoples.

The 21st annual meeting of the Union of Arab Banks kicked off here Thursday under the title: lobbying for better Arab-international banking.
