Foreign Minister Ibrahim Jaafari on Tuesday said that the Iraqi people unified their ranks for fighting Daesh terrorist group.
In a released statement, he added all the Arabs supported Iraq regarding violations by the Turkish forces against the Iraqi territories.
Iraq is keen on enhancing its relations with the Arab countries, he said, adding that a unified Arab stance was adopted calling for the withdrawal of the Turkish forces from the Iraqi soil.
Jaafari met earlier today with President of the Arab Parliament (AP) Mishal al Salmi, according to the statement.
The meeting took up recent security and political developments in Iraq and major victories achieved by the Iraqi forces against Daesh terrorist group, added the statement.
