Energy Minister Dr. Abdul Hussein bin Ali Mirza received here today a delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), led by David Robinson, currently on a visit to the kingdom. Dr. Mirza lauded the major role played by IMF in supporting the economies of developing. He also reviewed with the visiting delegation the latest positive developments in the oil and gas sectors, commending the on-going cooperation between Bahrain and IMF, which, he asserted, will serve the kingdom's economic strategies and interests. On their part, members of IMF delegation expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Mirza for his hospitality and praised the issues discussed during the meeting.
