BDF Chief of Staff arrives in Abu Dhabi

Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Chief of Staff Major General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa arrived in Abu Dhabi today heading the Bahraini delegation to the 9th meeting of the Supreme Military Committee of the GCC Chiefs of Staff which will get underway tomorrow morning. He was received on arrival by UAE Armed Forces Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Hamad bin Mohammed bin Thani Al Rumaithi. The meeting will spotlight key issues pertaining to boosting joint military cooperation and enhancing defence coordination among the GCC armed forces. Major General Shaikh Daij was accompanied by Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations Major General Dhiab Sagr Al Nuaimi, Royal Naval Force Commander Commodore Abdullah Saeed Al Mansouri, Military Cooperation Director Colonel Shaikh Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and BDF officers.
