Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) began implementation of (Prompt Response) combined tactical military exercises this morning carried out by the Royal Naval Forces with participation from the Royal Field Engineers Corps in cooperation with US Naval Forces planned to continue until 23 November 2011.The drills comprise naval operations, preparations, planning, implementation of defensive procedures, tackling of explosives, mid-sea training, monitoring and minesweeping. The allied forces carrying out the prompt response drills implement specialized naval, training programs using advanced technologies in order to boost the Royal Naval Forces' effectiveness in coping with various combat situations, and upgrade the standard of personnel under a strategy of modernization and development adopted by the BDF to establish cooperation and harmony with friendly and allied forces and create solid backgrounds.The launching of the military exercises was attended by the Kingdom of Bahrain's Royal Naval Forces commandant and officers, officers from the Royal Field Engineers Corps and a number of officers from the US Navy.
