Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa al Khalifa had a meeting on Wednesday with US Administration Special Envoy Retired General Anthony Zini and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Arabian Peninsula Affairs, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, Timothy A. Lenderking, who arrived in Bahrain as part of a regional shuttle tour, the Bahraini news agency (BNA) reported.
The King reviewed with the US envoys strong historic relations binding the two friendly countries and means of bolstering joint ties at all levels.
During the meeting, King Hamad hailed the deep-rooted cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
The two sides also discussed the latest regional and international developments and a range of issues of mutual interest.
