Deputy Prime Minister Jawad bin Salim Al Arrayed chaired the meeting of the Legal Affairs Ministerial Committee today attended by committee members.
The committee discussed the topics on its agenda, including memoranda and bills of law prepared in the light of proposals submitted to the Government from the Shura and Council of Representatives, which the Government in turn prepared its respective opinion on them.
The committee reviewed various bills of law and resolutions prepared by the government, and prepared its recommendations to submit them to the Cabinet.
The committee also reviewed several proposals presented by the government to the Council of Representatives. The committee prepared a draft government reply and decided to submit it to the Cabinet to take the necessary resolutions in regard thereof. The committee expressed its opinion of some of the topics referred to it from the Cabinet and various ministries.
