Emir of Qatar leaves Ukraine

HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani left Kiev before noon Thursday wrapping up a two-day official visit to Ukraine. HH the Emir and his accompanying delegation were seen off at Borispol International Airport by a number of senior Ukrainian officials, HE Qatari Ambassador to Ukraine Ahmed bin Saif Al-Midhadi and HE Ukrainian Ambassador to Qatar Yuriy Polurez. HH the Emir meanwhile sent a cable to the Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych in which he expressed thanks and appreciation for the hospitality accorded to him and the accompanying delegation during the visit.
