Prime Minister Sherif Ismail said on Tuesday the government is determined to firmly deal with the reported kidnapping crimes through strict measures.
"The government will show no leniency with the perpetrators of such inhumane crimes," Ismail said in statements.
He called on citizens to support the state’s institutions in their efforts to face such crimes by swiftly reporting any information that can lead to the arrest of the criminals.
"The state is keen on toughening up penalties on those who commit the abduction crimes," he stressed.
