His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa chaired at his court today a work meeting on ways of implementing the directives issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa when he received the participants at the National Consensus Dialogue. Regarding the pay rise ordered by HM King Hamad for civilian and military government employees and pensioners, HRH Premier reviewed with the concerned ministries the best mechanisms of implementing the royal orders and instructed them to take the necessary procedures in order to include it (Pay rise) in the August salary so as to coincide with Eid Al Fitr. Concerning HM’s instructions to implement the National Consensus Dialogue’s agreed upon visions in coordination with the concerned constitutional bodies, HRH Premier called for the need to set up coordination committees at the kingdom’s ministries in order to make sure that they are concretised as soon as possible. In this context, HRH Premier lauded HM King Hamad’s directives and affirmed that the government’s efforts to upgrade the citizens’ standards of living are continuous in spite of the economic challenges and the kingdom’s limited resources, reiterating the government’s keen desire to ensure welfare for al Bahrainis. “The National Consensus Dialogue visions reflect HM King Hamad’s strong will to bring about more reform and the Bahraini people’s need for development,” HRH Premier also said during the meeting, pointing out that the agreed upon visions will take Bahrain into a new era of reforms and will ensure a more prosperous future for its citizens. HRH Premier also stressed that the success of the National Consensus Dialogue reflects the Bahraini people’s maturity and the strong leadership-people cohesion.
