The Islamophobia Observatory of Dar Al Ifta has praised the decision announced by all Palestinian churches on expressing full solidarity with Palestinian protesters against Israeli violations at Al Aqsa Mosque and in Al Quds city.
The announcement reflects the strong relations between Palestinian Muslims and Christians in the face of the arrogance and violations of Israeli occupation forces, the observatory said in a statement on Sunday.
Also, the observatory warned of the gravity of Israeli occupation forces’ practices against Palestinians in the vicinity of Al Aqsa and Al Quds, calling for an immediate halt to violence, respecting the freedom of worship and protecting the sanctity of places of worship, the statement added.
Furthermore, the observatory asserted the recent Israeli escalation in Al Quds and the ongoing break-ins by Jewish settlers at Al Aqsa Mosque could drive the region into a spate of violence and undermine any possible chances to reach a just and comprehensive solution, the statement read.
Moreover, the observatory called on the international community to take an immediate action to protect Al Quds city and Al Aqsa Mosque, the statement noted.
