King Mohammed VI has decided to personally pay for the expenses of the funerals of the four police officials who died Sunday evening in a road accident on the Meknes-Khemisset highway, the national police (DGSN) said in a statement.
In accordance with the high royal instructions, the Director General of the national police promoted the four officials to the higher administrative grade and instructed national police’s social services to organize official funerals for the victims and to provide the necessary help to their families, the source added.
The victims – an officer, a lance-sergeant and two inspectors – died in a road accident on their return from a mission in Casablanca.
