Kuwait and Egypt yesterday signed a Legal and Judicial Cooperation Agreement, which includes several civil and commercial materials, personal status materials, and the transfer of sentenced persons in a deprivation of liberty sanctions.
According to the Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, the agreement was signed by Dr. Faleh Al-Azb, Kuwait's Minister of Justice and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs, and Mohammad Hossam Abdel-Rahim, Egypt’s Minister of Justice. It regulates the judicial cooperation in the areas of exchange of information and encourage visits and seminars between the two countries.
In the upcoming meetings, they will touch on topics pertaining to how to handle criminal cases, detention, as well as measures to extradite criminals.
