Libyan army spokesman colonel Ahmed al Mesmary said on Wednesday that nine Libyan soldiers had been slain to death by terrorist group Daesh south of Jafra area in the country's desert.
The soldiers were killed along with two civilians two civilians in the massacres which took place at a checkpoint 100kms south Jafra, Mesmary quoted by Russia Today, said.
Since Muammar Gaddafi’s fall in 2011, Libya has been plagued by security problems and political actors have been obliged to depend on rival militias that are battling for control of the North African country.
