The project "TuniVote," an online voting assistance tool, was presented, on Saturday in Tunis, at a news conference organised by the Network of Tunisian Skills in Germany (Tunicomp) and the association "Forum for a New Republic" (Nou-R). "TuniVote" will help voters have a clear picture and find answers to their questions. It will especially help motivate the most reluctant people to vote. According to Mr. Kais Khanfir, Secretary-General of the association "Forum for a New Republic," parties will have an important role in the success of this project since they will have to answer a questionnaire covering such topics as the political system, the economic system, the social system, education, health, culture, arts, security and justice. This project, he added, will allow parties to present their positions and their arguments on controversial issues and correct bias. The success of this initiative, which is beneficial to both parties and voters, depends on an active participation of parties by answering the questionnaire of "TuniVote" on time. Created after January 14, 2011, "Tunicomp" mobilises different Tunisian skills, businessmen and other active players in Germany and focuses efforts to serve the Tunisia of freedom, success and tolerance. As for the association "Forum for a New Republic" (Nour-R), it operates in the civil society and seeks to contribute to the establishment of foundations of true democracy in Tunisia.
