Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek el Molla met on Wednesday with Algerian Minister of Energy Noureddine Bouterfa and Iraqi Minister of Oil Jabar Ali al Luaibi.
The meeting comes ahead of the ministers' participation in the 97th meeting of the ministerial council of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC), to be held Thursday in Cairo, under the chairmanship of Kuwait.
Molla underlined the importance of this Arab gathering and the role played by bilateral and multilateral talks in achieving joint cooperation in the fields of petroleum, natural gas and petrochemicals.
The Egyptian minister also noted that the meeting would address issues of mutual concern and review the outcome of the Arab integration projects.
