The State of Qatar paid a forceful tribute to Tunisia for its success in holding free, transparent and credible elections, expressing hope that the Tunisian people will manage to build a modern civil state. In a statement issued on Friday by the Office of the Prince in Doha, the Emir, Government and People of Qatar extend their heartfelt congratulations to the Tunisian people "on the very honourable achievement," reflected in the organisation of free, transparent and credible elections to elect members of the National Constituent Assembly.
