Qatar participated on Tuesday in the opening ceremony of Milipol Paris Exhibition 2011 which will run until 21 October. The Qatari delegation to the ceremony was led by HE the Minister of State for Interior Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani. His Excellency toured the different wings of the expo and also visited Qatar''s pavilion in the show. A session of talks was held between the Qatari and French sides and co-chaired by HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser and French Interior Minister Claude Guillain. The session addressed a number of issues of common interest and ways of enhancing them. He also met French Gendarmerie General Director Jacques Mignaux. The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation in joint issues.
