Saudi Arabia expressed keenness to provide all that would protect and care for children and to ensure their enjoyment of their human, social, educational and economic rights.
The Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations affirmed voiced the stance during a session held at the UN headquarters.
“The Kingdom believes in the noble goal and the great role played by the United Nations Children's Fund in providing a beautiful present and future for all children in the world and promising to continue to provide everything that would enable the Organization to do its job perfectly”, the mission.
The mission explained that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's contributed more than $ 260 million to UNICEF.
This came in the speech of the Deputy Permanent Representative of the Mission Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Manzlawi in the work of the second session of the Executive Board of the United Nations Children's Fund held at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
