Information Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi lauded the competence of the Saudi security bodies and their vigilance in thwarting the criminal terror plot which targeted Makkah’s Holy Mosque and worshippers. He stressed global support to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures to combat all terror acts which contravene religious, humanitarian and moral principles and values.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the minister hailed the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, spearheaded by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in serving Islam and Muslims and caring for pilgrims and Umrah performers. He affirmed that the attempt to perpetrate the heinous crime in Makkah and during the blessed days of Ramadan can only be carried out by a criminal devoid of all religious and humanitarian sentiments.
He said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through its leadership of the Arab and Islamic world and pioneering international contribution to fostering moderation and tolerance and fighting all forms of terrorism and extremism, will remain immune against evil forces and their criminal plots to shake its security and stability, mar the noble Islamic faith, target religious holy sites and undermine countries’ security and stability.
Al Romaihi hailed Saudi Arabia’s wise and competent leadership of the Arab and Islamic world amid global appreciation of its efforts and farsighted vision to promote the noble Islamic values, protect the security of the Islamic nation, root out terrorism, maintain regional and international security and stability and serve humanity.
