Security directorates across the State have beefed up security measures to secure celebrations marking the 4th anniversary of June 30 Revolution.
In Luxor, the security directorate declared a state of emergency across the Upper Egyptian governorate and intensified security presence at vital facilities, including archaeological and touristic sites, the entrances and exists of the governorate as well as the desert and high ways.
Port Said Security chief Maj. Gen. Zaki Salah issued directives to secure vital facilities and install electronic gates at Al Shohadaa square.
The security chief also urged residents to flock to streets to take part in the celebrations of revolution anniversary.
Meanwhile, Minya Security chief Mamdoh Abdel Monsef Habib conferred with security leaderships in the governorate to discuss security measures meant to secure June 30 celebrations.
