The Sharjah Police have completed their preparations for ensuring safety and security during the Eid holidays.
Brigadier Ali Salem Al Khayal, director-general of Central Operations of Sharjah Police, said that all precautionary measures have been taken to ensure smooth traffic movement in internal and external roads. "We are expecting huge traffic on main roads and within residential areas. Patrols will be deployed in residential areas for monitoring."
He urged motorists to adhere to the traffic regulations, and encouraged the public to contact the operations control room at 901 for none emergency and 999 for emergency and crimes.
"Police are keen to make all efforts to prevent crimes and curb accidents to ensure safety for the public. We will also intensify patrols in areas with parks and tourist destinations."
